If you are a representative of a local authority, youth centre, or a youth organisation and you would like to find a possible answer to this question, we are inviting you to an online international seminar about youth participation titled “Discussing youth participation: How to engage young citizens?”. The online seminar will be held on the 23rd of July 2025, from 10.00 to 13.00, on the ZOOM platform.
Between 6 and 7 May PiNA colleagues Maja Drobna and Vid Sever travelled to Brussels on business, where the partners of the new ESCLIB project met officially for the first time and kicked off a two-year adventure that will equip young Europeans with critical-thinking skills for navigating digital media and combating disinformation—especially that linked to climate change.
The 26-day residency is designed to support, explore, and produce tangible outcomes that contribute both to the artistic community and to public well-being by addressing urban noise pollution and enhancing sonic environments in cityscapes.
In addition to the program including renowned Slovenian and foreign artists, this year’s jubilee edition of the IZIS Festival also boasts a new venue. The festival will take place between 23 September and 16 October 2022 at the Libertas warehouse and the Bastion Fortress in Koper.
In the upcoming May evenings, when the leading musicians of the night of nature are nightingales, two unique sound events in the natural environment will take place as part of the Steklenik Gallery program. One of them will be in Škocjanski zatok Nature Reserve in Koper, on 14th of May 2022, starting at 7.30 pm.
