Got an idea? RISTANC is looking for allies of the Slovenian sea: submit yours and receive up to €12,000 in funding!

Written by PiNA September 15, 2026

Have you ever thought you could help solve a challenge facing our sea? Now’s your chance. At PiNA we are part of a bigger European story: the RISTANC project, working towards a healthier Slovenian sea. And that story needs you.

As part of the project, we’ve launched a call looking for good ideas to help the Slovenian sea: whether that’s anchoring that doesn’t harm the seabed, managing the coast, or anything else that makes the sea healthier. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an association, a school, an artist, or an individual with a good idea, as long as you’re based in the EU (or a country associated with Horizon Europe), you’re invited to apply.

Projects can receive between €7,500 and €12,000, and applications are open until November 15, 2026. On October 6, 2026, we’ll host a free information webinar on Zoom, where we’ll answer all your questions.

You can find all documentation, the application form, and details on the conditions, eligible applicants and challenges addressed by the call on the RISTANC project website: (link below).

We look forward to your application!

The RISTANC project (Research and Innovation Cooperation for Sustainability and Reaching EU Missions Objectives) has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101217089 (call HORIZON-MISS-2024-CROSS-02).
