THE SUN: OPEN CALL FOR ILLUSTRATORS!

The illustration, print and self-publishing fair The Sun is returning to Koper! 

Created to support, connect, and spotlight independent and emerging illustrators, the fair returns with even more energy and a fresh creative pulse.

The second edition of The Sun collides with Street Art Fest Koper, pulling inspiration from graffiti culture, street art imagery, and the unapologetic freedom of street expression.

This year, the spotlight is on self-expression and urban participation and we want YOU to be part of it.

When and where?
7 September 2025, Taverna, Koper

The Sun is a space for anyone who wants to showcase their work to a broader audience, connect with fellow artists, share skills and experiences, and become part of a community that believes art is a place of encounters, dialogue, and the exploration of new forms of expression.

We’re looking for independent creators, collectives, emerging talents, and anyone who wants to take a step into the world of illustration or street-inspired art. You can apply individually or as a group/collective.

About the fair
The Sun was created in the spirit of collaboration, self-initiative, and accessible culture, which is why participation is free of charge, including illustrators. The fair is co-organized by PiNA and the Institute for Youth, Culture and Tourism of Koper.
