INNOVATIVE PROMOTION OF CONTENT
The PiNA crew who prepared the training programme built it from the assumption that the organisers of cultural events and projects promote their activities mainly with the use of widespread and non-in-depth media language, which brings the public only photographic information. Most of the cultural projects have a deeper level which is faced with interesting questions and the reflection of modern society. During the training, the participants and expert mentors used innovative communication tools and approaches with which they promoted the in-depth content of a big project – namely, the international film festival Kino Otok – Isola Cinema.
INFORMAL EDUCATION, MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION
The goal of the project is to encourage and upgrade the use of multimedia for content promotion and to reach set goals in youth organisations. The trainees were given theoretical and practical knowledge about the use of multimedia and classical communication tools. The youths had an opportunity to co-create newspaper content and multimedia production, and were trained to use various technologies such as cameras, video cameras, software for video processing, web applications for project promotion etc., with mentors or ‘peer to peer’. The skills gained will serve for higher quality reporting on artistic content and for a better promotion of their organisations among youths. The knowledge gained by the participants will not only be intended for production of high-quality multimedia and printed products, but also for future broadening, thus raising the base quality level in production and content.
