KID PiNA is focused in searching of the balance between the challenges brought by the modern society. In it, the only criterion of the development is constant economic growth but for us the development is understood by the life quality, health of the environment and the people, encouragement of the cultural diversity. Biodiversity, respect of all living creatures, reasonable use reasonable use of natural resources and consumption, development  of honest and positive relationship towards the society and nature, healthy lifestyle for all and availability of the healthy living space and food are the values KID PiNA believes in and because of that activities that foster sustainable behaviour patterns and raise the knowledge and environmental consciousness were developed.   

KID PiNA includes wide network of people, gives experience in natural environment and by that preserves traditional skills and expands modern, less known and spread practices. Active use of free time contributes to the formation of the values, spreads practical knowledge and environmental consciousness, strengthens the cooperation and mutual relationship and by that contributes to the critical thinking and responsible behaviour.  

Sustainable development is fostered through workshops, lectures, spreading of the informationspreading of the information and events. Special attention is given to the basin of the Dragonja river, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt regions in Slovenia that inspires locals and all those behind KID PiNA.
