STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FOR ADULT EDUCATION FOR BETTER INTEGRATION OF LGBTIQ PEOPLE, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT
Discrimination, stereotypes and sometimes violence against LGBTIQ people happen in public space, Health Services, workplaces, school, within the family and is reinforced through the media.
That being so, it is relevant and urgent to reduce discrimination towards sexual orientation and gender identity and to bridge the gap between the institutions and the citizens.
The project focuses on improving the quality of work of professionals, activists and other stakeholders in the field of advocacy of the LGBTIQ community. The main objective of the project is to learn and use the methods of Theatre of the Oppressed, Loesje creative writing and multimedia, in different social contexts (schools, public services, labor market, public space, etc.). The project seeks to enhance cooperation between the field of adult education and the field of work and employment, and to extend the debate on discrimination against representatives of the LGBTIQ community in the workplace.
